Time Is Precious
Clients who book appointments and cannot make their appointment are granted full credit as long as a 24-hour notice is provided. If you cancel within 24 hours you will be charged half the cost of your appointment. If you no-show, you will be charged the full cost of your appointment.
If your arrival is delayed, I will make every effort to accommodate your full appointment, but this is not always possible. Your time may be shortened to avoid delays for other guests’ treatments, and you will still be charged at full value. Last minute changes to appointments will be honored only if an appointment is available and other guests are not inconvenienced.
All first-time clients are asked to arrive 15 minutes early to complete a brief health and skin questionnaire. Arriving early ensures you still get your full treatment.
When you reach out to me with a phone call or a text, I cannot always respond immediately. I do my best to respond as quickly as I can, but sometimes it may take until the next day for me to get back to you. Texting is the best for me, I will respond fastest to texts. I do use my voicemail too, so if you call and I don’t answer please leave a message.
Perfumes and Health
No perfumes please.
Please note that waxing and body treatments can have certain side effects such as skin removal, redness, swelling and tenderness, due to skin sensitivity levels, product use, sun exposure, medications and other “stuff”. Please notify me before reserving your treatments if you have high blood pressure, special physical concerns, use Accutane or Retin-a or other topical or oral treatments for skin, diabetes, or are pregnant.
Every client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. Conversations in the treatment room never leave the treatment room, nor do I share any client information. Health history forms and email lists are confidential and never shared.
Desiree’s Skin Care is a single treatment room studio. I will always have a sign on the door indicating the status of a session or if I am open or closed. If there is a treatment in session when you arrive, please wait quietly until the appointment has ended.

All Dermalogica products can be exchanged up to 30 days after purchase. For all other products, all sales are final.
